The disgraced ex lawyer, who served as the president’s longtime personal counsel before he was convicted for two felony campaign finance violations, defended robert mueller’s investigation into the president’s campaign - claiming trump “colluded with the russians.”
“I also knew that the mueller investigation was not a witch-hunt. Trump had cheated in the election, with russian connivance, as you will discover in these pages, because doing anything - and I mean anything - to ‘win’ has always been his business model and way of life,” cohen said.
Last year, attorney general william barr said there had been “no collusion” between the trump campaign and russia after the report’s release, though the report did not take a stance on whether his campaign had obstructed justice.

Cohen also slammed trump for acting “like a mob boss” who “wanted me dead” – claiming “the death threats had come by the hundreds” after he decided to cooperate with the mueller investigation.

“I was a lowlife judas they were going to hunt down.”
Cohen also wrote: "apart from his wife and children, I knew trump better than anyone else did,"claiming he was the one who pushed him to run for president in 2011 and 2015.
"in some ways, I knew him better than even his family did because I bore witness to the real man. And in the unguarded moments when he revealed who he really was."
He also claimed in the book that the president will be rocked by more scandals.
Cohen wrote: 'the types of scandals that have surfaced in recent months will only continue to emerge with greater and greater levels of treachery and deceit.
"if trump wins another four years, these scandals will prove to only be the tip of the iceberg."
Last month, the ACLU announced it would sue trump for imprisoning cohen "in retaliation for his plans to publish the book."
US district judge alvin K. Hellerstein ordered cohen to be released from prison to home confinement in july, also claiming the government had retaliated over the tell-all book.

Donald trump’s first UK golf resort – which he boasted was “the greatest in the world” six months ago – has lost money for the seventh year in a row.
The president’s international golf club in aberdeenshire, scotland, recorded a loss of £1.07m for 2018, according to the latest company accounts.
While that marked a slight improvement on the £1.25m loss posted in 2017, the resort has failed to make a profit since it opened in 2012. Its combined losses now stand at more than £9m.
The accounts, filed with companies house on friday, showed that the business has received a £40m interest-free loan from donald trump, who was a director of the firm until he became president in january 2017.
They record that the company “is dependent on continuing finance being made available to enable it to continue operating and to meets its liabilities as they fall due”.
Despite the continued losses, the company boasts of its plans to expand the menie estate by building 500 houses and a second golf course.
