General prep works

Hacking device

get a FIB-pass from a corrupt agent, enter the FIB building and.

Patrol routes

go to a meeting of the duggan security guys, eliminate them and search for the right car. Once found, open the trunk, take a photo of the documents and send them to lester.

Duggan shipments

like a freeroam job. You have to destroy 10 shipments of these shipments, spread all over the map. Best use a helicopter for that.

Security intel

help poor vincent, who is now a mall security guy. The intel will be done in every heist when completed once.

Power drills

go to a construction site that is marked and collect either a vehicle with the drills or the drills alone. One person can carry two drills. A disguise is sometimes available.

Security pass

• Level 1: acquired from a cleaning woman.


• Level 2: acquired from a croupier.

We had to crash a drug-party and find the croupier to search him for his pass.

Specific prep - silent & sneaky

You have to drive round the city and shoot down drones used by the LSPD. Then just collect the dropped parts.

Go out to the desert, fight some (OP) army guys and search for the lasers. They look like this:

EMP device

go to LSIA and steal a cargobob. Then fly to the university, lift the EMP out (it is right on the open filed) and fly it to the substation of LS water and power right across the casino.

Infilitration suits

go out to human labs and kill the guards in your way (the alarm will trigger as soon as you enter) bags are in the rear (where you have to par the insurgent in the human labs heist). Bags look like this:

Take out the electric stuff with your stun gun

Kill the guards right away, DO NOT STUN THEM! Guards with a helmet can't be killed right away. You can kill them with your knife.

• We went in through waste disposal, disabling the first metal detector, in the area behint it.


• After that we opened up the guard rooms and killed the guards.


• In the elevator bay, there is a button in the middle of the security room, right by the window, that opens the door of a small vault. There is the daily income in there, that you can steal. Press the button, let one guy go in, close the door and wait until he has emptied the vault. The vault can be opened from the inside.

We waited for the elevator guard to pass and opened up the stairs access.

The big con

First: get into the gruppe sechs van and drive to the casino, to the security tunnel. You are being let in and have to drive down the tunnel, where your credentials are being checked and you are able to park the van.

Then, go down to the vault area, proceed through the manhole. To go through, you have to swipe two keycards at the (roughly) same time (time-window is roughly 4 seconds) and then just go down the winding tunnel.

Then you have a short cutscene, one knocks out the guard who opens the door and then you have to start heisting.

The diamond casino heist/preparations

Diamond casino heist preparations are freemode missions that are needed to progress the planning stage of the diamond casino heist. They can be viewed and started from the basement of arcades.

There are two types of preparation missions – required and optional. The former must be completed in order to carry out the heist, while the latter type of missions can be done to significantly lower the difficulty of the heist, but can be skipped if the heist leader wishes to do so. There are three planning boards inside the basement.

Setup board

The first board allows the player to view access points that they have photographed during the setup: casino scoping mission. On this board, the player can also start the previously mentioned mission, as well as heist prep: vault contents. The player does not have to scope out the casino for every heist, but can do it as many times as they wish. However, the vault contents mission must be completed with every heist.

After the vault contents are identified, the player gains the option of choosing one of the three possible approaches for the heist – silent & sneaky, the big con, or aggressive. The same approach cannot be chosen twice in a row, so the player must alternate between them. If the same approach is chosen after only one other approach, the casino will have better security, but there will be better rewards.

After the approach is chosen, the player can move onto the second planning board.

Prep board

On the second board are listed all the main prep work missions the player can start. On the top left, the player must first choose the gunman, driver, and hacker they wish to employ for the heist. The higher their skill, the higher cut of the total money they take. A better gunman can provide the player with better weapons, a better driver can provide them with better vehicles, and the better the hacker, the more time the players will have inside the vault before they are detected. Only after the player chooses a gunman and driver can they access other missions.

Once the player chooses a gunman, they can start the heist prep: unmarked weapons mission, in which they need to source weapons to use for the heist. When a driver is chosen, the heist prep: getaway vehicles mission can be started, where the player needs to obtain vehicles to use after robbing the casino. Once a hacker is chosen, heist prep: hacking device can be started, in which they need to steal the hacking technology from either the FIB building in pillbox hill or the server farm at NOOSE headquarters.

General prep work

Most of these missions are listed at the bottom of the board. These are the same for every approach, and most are optional. These are:

• Vault keycards – the only mandatory general prep work mission. Two keycards must be acquired, which will be used to access the mantrap leading in and out of the vault.


• Guard patrol routes – the player must photograph the guards' staff roster at a duggan security meeting. This will show the positions of all security guards at the casino during the heist.


• Duggan shipments – the player must destroy weapons and equipment that are intended for duggan's casino security team. There are ten targets around the map and the more that are destroyed, the weaker the security will be during the heist.


• Security intel – the player must go to the rockford plaza shopping centre, where they meet vincent. After retrieving a stolen gauntlet hellfire, vincent gives the player a USB flash drive with security information. Completing this prep mission will make all security cameras and their cones of vision visible during the heist. This mission can only be started if the heist leader has previously completed all casino missions as host. The mission also does not need to be completed with every heist, but it can if the player wishes to replay it.


• Power drills – two power drills must be acquired at a construction site. This will allow players to drill into the safety deposit boxes in the vault for extra money ($0 to $10000).


• Masks – the heist leader can acquire custom masks from vespucci movie masks for free (heist only) to use during the heist.


• Security pass – the player can obtain either level 1 or 2 security passes for the heist. Alternatively, penthouse owners can steal level 1 passes from the cleaning trolley in their penthouse if the maid is present.

Approach specific prep work

For this approach, at least one type of the following disguises must be obtained, the others then being optional if the leader desires to have multiple choices when choosing an entry tactic.

• Gruppe sechs gear part 1 – A damaged stockade must be stolen from an auto repair shop so it can be used for the heist.


• Gruppe sechs gear part 2 – the player must infiltrate a security meeting and send an image of a stockade's licence plate to lester, as well as steal gruppe sechs outfits for use during the heist.


• Bugstar gear part 1 – the player must steal a bugstars burrito which also contains the required equipment and outfits to be used during the heist.


• Bugstar gear part 2 – A trashmaster full of insects must be stolen so that the team has pests to use for the bugstars approach.


• Maintenance gear part 1 – two bags of equipment and outfits must be stolen from a maintenance crew for use during the heist.


• Maintenance gear part 2 – an LSDWP van must be stolen and then taken to the casino. Once there, the player must pour chemicals into a broken ventilation unit atop the building. After this, the van needs to be delivered to the arcade.

If the heist leader triggered the cutscene introducing yung ancestor during the "setup: casino scoping" mission, they have an additional option for an entry approach which can be chosen after two mission are completed for yung:

• Dead weight – yung orders the player to dispose of a dead body inside the boot of a fugitive.


• After party – the player must take out teams of paparazzi and destroy their cameras to prevent photos of yung ancestor from being released.

The player also must complete the mandatory heist prep: vault drills mission, in which two vault drills must be stolen so the heist crew can access the vault during the heist.

The heist leader can also choose to obtain two exit disguises for use after robbing the casino by completing the optional heist prep: firefighter gear and heist prep: NOOSE gear missions.

If the player has collected all 54 collectible playing cards in freeroam, the player can choose the "high roller" exit disguise when starting the heist.

Aggressive

• Thermal charges – the player must obtain thermal charger for use during the heist; these will replace the hacking done in the vault during the other two approaches. This mission is mandatory.


• Vault explosives – plastic explosives must be stolen for use. These will replace the drilling done on the vault door during the other two approaches. This mission is mandatory.


• Reinforced armor – the player must steal reinforced armor in order to be better protected during the heist. This mission is optional.


• Tunnel boring machine – if the player sent an image of the sewer tunnel entrance to lester during "setup: casino scoping", they can use it as the entrance, using the boring machine obtained from this mission to drill to the vault level (B1). This mission is optional.

Finale board

The final board allows the player to start the heist, which will bring up a lobby waiting screen. Once 2-4 players are present, the heist leader can press start, which will put them back on the third planning board.

Here, the leader can choose the entry and exit points, as well as entry and exit disguises if doing the appropriate approach. They also need to choose from three different buyers. Optionally, the leader can also purchase the "clean vehicle" and "gunman decoy" options. The former will place a clean vehicle on the map, which can be used by the crew if their starting vehicles are damaged during the getaway, and to help lose the cops. The latter option will make the gunman act as a decoy during the getaway, lowering the wanted level over time.

Similar to other heists in the game, the leader must distribute the money between all players. Every member of the team must get at least 15% of the final payout.

GTA online diamond casino heist setup guide: approaches, access points of interest, support crew

The diamond casino heist is the biggest ever to hit GTA online, and requires drawing up meticulous setup plans to walk away with the maximum payout. Here’s a run-down of the setup board for the diamond casino heist in GTA online so you can beat the house.

There are multiple different preparation options for you to choose from at nearly every stage of setup for the diamond casino heist – from when you’re casing the joint to when you’re breaking into the vault.

The first time you successfully run the heist is free. But you’ll have to pay to play thereafter.

GTA online diamond casino heist set up

Setup: arcade equipment

Next head over to your new digs and a cutscene will play and you’ll be able to begin the first set up missions by walking over to the laptop in the empty arcade basement.

Interacting with the laptop launches the first setup mission – arcade equipment – where you track down some initial kit for your hideout.

Make your way to the post op depository and chase down the jacked truck. Take out the drivers and schlep back to your arcade.

On your return another cutscene plays where lester runs through the prospective plan in three parts: scope, prepping, score. He also briefly goes over the three ways that you can play the heist: stealthy, aggressive, or “the big con”.

First on your list is scoping out the casino for opportunities.

Scoping out the casino – scope every entrance and POI

These are all optional objectives that give you more options when you’re infiltrating the casino. Scoping is split into two missions, scope out the casino and scope out the vault contents.

You can scope all of the access points in scoping the casino, but you can only get the first six points of interest. The others are gathered from the separate scout “vault contents” mission.

These are the six access points to the diamond casino :

• Main door – at the front of the casino


• Side doors – take pictures of the keypad doors on the sides of the casino, there’s one on the back and left-hand side


• Roof terrace – four keypad doors, one next to the pool, one down the stairs behind the bar, two around the back jump off the ledge on the left-hand side of the pool and follow the path around


• Security tunnel – in the tunnel under the racetrack at the back of the casino, take a picture of the garage door


• Roof – take a picture of the two keypad doors either side of the helipad


• Sewer tunnel – across the street from the casino is a big storm drain, head down into the sewer here and take a picture of the grate.

To find these you need to move between the different camera views in the time allotted.

• Carpeted room – POI pops as soon as you switch to this view


• Metal detectors – in grey room


• Security office door – doors in the room with the grey stripe running down the middle


• Staff elevator – in the purple diamond casino room, pan to the two elevators on the right


• Blue door – in the corridor with the elevator and blue door, pan to the door on the left

Finding these allows you to buy extras from your set up board, letting you find access points easier, or practise the skills you’ll need on the inside.

Now that you’ve earmarked your possible points of entry, it’s time to choose your approach.

They’re pretty self explanatory: aggressive means you hit the casino hard and violently, silent relies on clandestine stealth, while the big con goes full ocean’s eleven with disguises and subterfuge.

All of the routes require a similar amount of prep, so choose whichever you like the look of most – you can always play the others later.

If you need more detail, here’s a rundown of each.

Aggressive heist approach

If you’re a fan of GTA online’s combat, then this is the approach for you. It involves fighting the casino security all the way through the building and using thermal charges to blow the vault open as well as the locked doors inside.

It has six mandatory set up missions, and seven optional with a further locked objective.

The six which you have to do are:

• Get unmarked weapons


• Find getaway vehicles


• Acquire hacking device


• Acquire vault keycards


• Get thermal charges


• Get vault explosives

The optional missions are:

• Scout patrol routes


• Disrupt duggan shipments


• Acquire security intel

The big con approach

In this approach you don a disguise to get inside the casino, then sneak your way to the vault, drill it open, then grab as much as you can carry and fight your way out.

This is probably the most changeable approach, because you can find different entrance disguises and your plan changes quite a lot based on your entry point.

Through optional setup missions you can plan multiple disguises to get you out of the casino as well.

This approach has six mandatory set up missions which are:

• Find getaway vehicles


• Find a hacking device


• Acquire vault keycards


• Get your entry disguise


• Get vault drills

There are seven optional set ups, which include:

• Scout patrol routes


• Disrupt duggan shipments


• Acquire security intel

Silent and sneaky approach

This is probably the toughest of the three to pull off successfully. It involves sneaking into the building with silenced pistols without getting caught, before drilling open the vault with a laser and avoiding security cameras to ride off into the sunset.

As with the others, there are six setup missions you have to do, with eight optional ones.

• Get unmarked weapons


• Find getaway vehicles


• Acquire a hacking device


• Get vault keycards


• Acquire a nano drone


• Find vault laser

Your optional missions are the same as the big con, except that you can find an infiltration suit and steal an EMP instead of getting an exit disguise.

Once you’ve chosen your approach, it’s time to get to work. Remember you can pay to skip certain missions, but not all of them.

Completing all of the optional set up missions gives you the best chance of success, but is not 100% necessary. Their main purpose is to give you options for when things go sideways during the job – so if you’re unsure of your plan, make up for it by being prepared.

Which support crew should you choose for the diamond casino heist?

Your support crew for the diamond casino heist consists of a gunman, driver, and hacker.

These basically determine the difficulty level of the heist itself.

A better gunman will equip you with better weaponry.

While a better driver will get you better cars once you make a break for it.

Finally, a better hacker will give you more time in the vault without being detected.

Better support crews come at a higher cut of the total take, and some are more worth it than others. For instance, you’ll definitely want as much time in the vault as possible, so picking an expert hacker is an easy choice. But if you’re not planning on being detected, then top tier guns are a waste.

Take into account your overall approach and choose what fits your style.

GTA online diamond casino heist payout rewards

It’s what you’re here for after all. The total potential take in cash for one run of the diamond casino heist is $2,115,000.

However, you won’t get all of that. Lester takes a small cut, then your support crew all take their allotted piece. There are then optional extras you can buy to help take the heat off of you in the getaway.

Then you actually have to steal and make off with all the money. Any damage you take inside the casino also reduces your take as you drop notes. This means that the rough player take can be anywhere from $400,000 to $1,750,000.

Scope out:
there are 10 spots to get, most of them need the keypad and camera in the frame of pic others none. When you enter lobby take the pics there then take elevator to roof terrace to meet yung ancestor. He is needed for you to do security intel, when he rings answer and complete his silly mission. I haven't got all pois because I have not been to the blueprints in ms baker's office, on her desk. You can then build a vault door in your nerve centre for 900k. I do have it now. Also I have not panned all the cameras in the vault contents mission which i will do next time.

Vault contents:
you have to find a dude and scan his phone while following him.
Using an oppressor II makes it easy to spot him from approach but dont let him see you on bike before or after, finding him on foot is a bit harder but not bad and dont arm up either, OR you can just shoot him and his buddy and run from cops, out of sight the cops dont show sometimes. Go to the casino.

.Casino hacking:
open your phone, go to bottom right app and launch.
If the bar is below 1 go to the rear, near managers entrance in toilet next to it.
BAR 1-2 the opposite side of managers area, 2 big doors with keypad
bar 2-3 the inside track room

..Vault cam
cycle through theses slow loading cams until you find the vault, pan right and when lester says what is inside you can leave and finish.
Cash, gold or art
I dont like cash, so if I get it, I ring lester and cancel the heist losing the 25k initial cost.
I've done it up to 3 times but it is still worth it, 75k compared to 1 mil, not mashing away madly and losing lots in getaway as well. I got 600k total once and never again.

Silent and sneaky
hard to do and really hard if you get caught. Doing it with yung ancestor lets you into ms bakers office to hack a level 3 pad. Sneak into tunnel gate and get to vault, get out before countdown then when you get to tunnel end before doors open set off EMP the rest is just good sneaking using map to see their cones of vision.

The big con
easy to do with grupp secs gear entry, you walk right into vault and any disguise leaving.
Take stairs up from vault and use pause to see their cones of vision, go right, get in behind and knock them out (dont shoot) then sneak into to laundry change and walk out.

Aggressive
easy to do with good guns and all the 10 dugan shipments completely killed. Enter through sewer and leave shooting your way out.You can raid a vault with button in security room, hold it to open and let close when they are in, go to door and shoot anyone until they leave by button inside.

You can see that I have the big con active on hard, defined by the skull in the icon.

When I refer to a heli they are buzzards except for dugan shipments and are all guns only

Choose your team 3 types of help. Guns cars and hacker
you have to choose these before you can proceed further.

Guns I use expert for aggressive, lowest for big con and 7% or above for sneaky
cars I ONLY use lowest guy to get the sentinel classic car option in the set up start.
Hacker I use the best I have for all. Avi gives you 15 seconds over paige.

Guns choosing now between 2 types of weapons. Choose the one you like best.
Cars select this and choose sentinel, it is all you need. When you have them in your garage get in each car car and you will see an option to upgrade it, at least bullet proof tyres. I only do 1 to full and remove livery to tell it apart.

Hacker as I said above.

Now you have that sorted you have a lot of options to select from.
Some are compulsory and others not. If it is your first time you should do them all. If it isn't your 1st you dont need to do patrol routes again or drills, as drills are for safety deposit boxes which i hardly ever get time to do unless I have 4 people.

A lot of players do not realise there are options within these options as well (like team options).
You can choose types of
guns, cars, entry disguise, exit disguise, patrol routes and security pass level 1 or 2.

For each type of heist there are different options only for that type of heist and others that you do for all types. I will start with the general ones first.

Thermal charges
they are usually in a warehouse or biker clubhouse with 3-4 guys out front and 6 or so inside to kill, medium to hard to live through solo and always 2 packages to collect. When you leave, 2 cars chase you and 2 helicopters a bit later, all are easy to run from if you are lucky.

Vault explosives
there are 4 sites where they spawn
1 elisian island this the easiest as you can park quite close to the search site.
2 palteo bay hard to live through heli assault, I have 50/50 record of living
3 catfish view hard again
4 alamo sea (where valkerie is in human labs heist) hard again

All of these follow the same pattern
when you get there, kill 6 or so guys on land then a heli and 3 boats over the search site.
If you have a stromberg, go to search point under water and pick up goods, 2 players is best , if pal has air defence take him to that, or.
Get changed into scuba gear and park your aircraft on an island or land close to search site.
Swim down and find the 2 packages then you have a countdown to get to safety before the helis attack. You can find the other package later if you are solo.
If you are lucky you get away, the helis will still be there when you get back but if you die you are in big trouble. I call the terrorbyte before I go down to site and if you are lucky you can get in and shoot them with it if they kill you. You carnt get in terrorbyte with package collected. There are waves of 2 helis that show up each time you kill them and I have seen 3 waves and up to 6 waves come in.
Go away then come back when they are settled over search area and they are easier to kill.
Once they are all dead you can collect package/s and go.
I've done these solo without dying and you can run out of time if you die, but having 2 ppl makes it a lot easier.

Reinforced armour
1. Off coast is a tilt propeller tula water plane with enemies onshore and boat next to it, kill em and fly to sandy shore airfeild. The 2 helis follow but cause no problems if you fly straight there.
2. Go to a bunker to get these. It is full of enemies and have died at least once every time getting the 2 packages even with 2 it is hard not to die.

Boring machine
this is an easy mission. If it is parked, just go to it, if the workers attack, shoot one and they run off except for a security guard to kill, then get in and drive, the cops will chase, I use railway lines to avoid them, when clear drive to the point, then drive to the tunnel.

Most other missions follow this pattern:
kill the enemies and police show up in force, leave the area and wait for police to give up, go back and if enemies are there repeat until none are left. Find whatever, always 2 off, and deliver them. 2 choppers follow but rarely do any harm so ignore them.

Keycards go to each one and knock them out get pass and leave for no police or just shoot if you want cops.

Security pass
1. Party person. Go to the dance spot and dance until he finds profile pic, search for him/her and then search the area for pass, 1 hard one to find is bottom of handrail, big area near pool.
